Visakhapatnam: Left parties organised a two-wheeler rally in the city on Wednesday to muster support for the state-wide bandh proposed to be held on Thursday to protest the raw deal meted out to Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget 2018-19.

The two wheelers started the rally from the Gandhi statue near GVMC office in the morning and covered old city before returning to the RTC Complex nearby.

Already, other political parties YSR Congress Party, Congress party, Lok Satta and Aam Aadmi party have declared support to the bandh and the Left parties made an appeal to the ruling Telugu Desam Party also to extend support to the bandh which was being held in the interests of the State.

Autorickshaw unions affiliated to the CITU and AITUC also held a meeting on the day and urged the people to make the bandh a success.
