Hyderabad: The State government on Tuesday initiated the process of recruiting clinical and non-clinical staff required to operate Telangana Institute of medical Sciences and Research (TIMS) located within the campus of Gachibowli stadium.
To this effect, the State Finance Department has issued a Government Order according permission to the Health department to engage clinical and non-clinical staff for 662 services in various categories on contract basis and even in deputation from Director of Public Health and Family Welfare for a period of one-year.
For the TIMS facility, close to 112 posts for professors, assistant professors will be filled-up for General Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology, General Medicine, Radiodiagnosis, Anaesthesia, TB, Neurology etc. The authorities will also recruit 267 nurses including 246 staff nurses and close to 121 medical officers. Overall, on contract basis, 514 posts consisting of doctors, nurses and hospital administration staff will be recruited for TIMS. Another 148 posts comprising of lab technicians, ECG technicians, data entry operators etc will be recruited on outsourcing basis for TIMS.
