Hyderabad: With just one day left for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit to commence, about 87 startups have been chosen from Hyderabad to showcase their products and services. In addition, the startups will get a chance to interact and get their ideas validated that could lead some business dealings.
Giving information about the number of startups participating, T-Hub COO Srinivas Kollipara said, “Out of the 400 startups participating from India about 87 of them are from Hyderabad. However, we cannot give out details about how many are from T-Hub. But the first priority is for women-run startups and also the startups that are working on the themes mentioned by GES.”
GES, which is being held for the first time in India and in Hyderabad, will see about 1,500 participants. Out of which about 500 are from the US, 500 are from India and 500 are from the rest of the globe. Out of the 500 participants from India, 400 are startups and 100 are investors, experts, mentors, and others.
“Other than putting Hyderabad on the global map, the event will provide networking and learning opportunities for startups,” Kollipara said.
