After winning several accolades with his roles in Rangasthalam and U Turn, actor Aadhi Pinisetty will turn sporty this time in his upcoming movie Clap. It is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual starring Aakanksha Singh and Krisha Kurup in the lead roles. The movie was launched at Annapurna Studios on Wednesday with music maestro Ilaiyaraaja giving the clap in Tamil and actor Nani giving the clap for Telugu version following a puja. Producer Allu Arvind switched on the camera commencing the launch of the movie.
Actor Aadhi Pinisetty said he was quite impressed with director Pruthvi’s narration. “When I listened to the script, I said yes without giving a thought on the remuneration and female lead. That is how much it impressed me. Usually, I hear two to three scripts a day. But, I liked Pruthvi’s conviction. I am confident that he can pull off the movie with same energy and conviction. I had been waiting to do a movie with producer Karthik since the days of Mrugam.We are fortunate to have Ilaiyaraaja on board, he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Aakanksha Singh said she would be essaying the role of Mitra, which is a an emotional character. Aakansha is debuting in Tamil with Clap, while it is her third movie in Telugu. Producer C Kalyan, Chanti Addala, Boyapati Srinivas, Gopichand Malineni actor Sandeep Kishan were among other celebs who attended the event.
