GHMC Commissioner B. Janardhan Reddy, stating that this was ‘the mother of all awards’, said it emphasized the core concern of city governance in present days.
In a message to the employees, the Commissioner said it is the culture of *interdependence* which is intrinsically imbibed that made the real difference.
“We have shown a way to the whole Country. In fact there could be no more perfect example of *interdependance* than sanitation and city upkeep,” he said.
There is no wing or any functionary which have not contributed either directly or indirectly and made this possible, he informed.
“Now it is our responsibility to continue the same spirit in sustaining the present efforts and move ahead with spirited efforts in reaching a next stage in clean administration,” said Reddy.
