Adilabad: Adilabad, Nirmal and Mancherial districts on Thursday witnessed light to very light rains. The showers also caused a bit inconvenience to the devotees who indulged in immersion of Ganesh idols in several parts of the three districts.
Adilabad district recorded an average rainfall of 22.6 mm. Narnoor mandal received the highest rainfall of 36.4 mm followed by Narnoor which had 33.6 mm of rainfall. Adilabad Rural, Tamsi, Boath, Ichoda and Talamadugu mandals witnessed over 20 mm of rainfall, the remaining mandals registered somewhere between 12 and 20 mm.
Similarly, Nirmal district had an average rainfall of 18.1 mm. Mudhole mandal recorded the highest rainfall by 39.3 mm, while Lokeshwaram received 29.8 mm of rainfall. Kubeer, Basar, Kuntala, Narsapur (G) and Dilawarpur mandals registered somewhere between 20 and 25 mm of rainfall.
Mancherial district’s average rainfall was assessed to be 16.3 mm. Luxettipet saw the highest rainfall by 63 mm and Hajipur received 27 mm of rainfall. Nennal recorded 26.6 mm of rainfall, while the other mandals registered below 20 mm of rainfall.
