Kamareddy: The aim of 30-day action plan, an initiative of State government towards rural development, is to transform the State into a golden Telangana by involving the locals in the program, said Kamareddy Collector Dr N Satyanarayana.
On Sunday, the Collector participated in Grama Sabha and 30-day action plan program at Banda Renjal village of Bichkunda mandal of Kamareddy district. On the occasion, Collector Dr Satyanarayana said the initiative which is a brainchild of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, should be adopted and implemented by all the villages by following a particular corse of action by the4 standing committees with the voluntary involvment of the locals to solve pending problems in their respective villages.
He informed that in Kamareddy district performing this plan in 526 villages of the districts, under this program conducted awareness program to public representatives and officials on 4th September, on 6th September create awareness to the villagers on CM KCR message
Awareness programmes on the initiative were conducted aross the district which has 526 villages, 1578 co-option members, 526 standing committees and 85,825 standing committee members, he mentioned. So far, as many as 6702 out of 10,855 garbage heaps have been cleared, 186 unused borewells closed and 1,65 364 saplings were distributed to 1,03,553 households and 40,413 farmers as well in the district, he added.
The Collector, who supervised the sanitation and garbage segregation system in the village, took part in the plantation programme after laying a foundation stone for grave yard in the locality.
Village sarpanch Balaraju, Assistant Collector Tejas Nandlal Pawar, DRDA PD Chandramohan Reddy, MPP Ashok, ZPTC Bharathi, Villagers and Gram Panchayati Members participated in the programme.
