All accused acquitted in 2007 Mecca Masjid blast case in Hyderabad

Tight security has been provided at the Nampally court. All the accused including Swami Aseemanand were produced in the court.

Hyderabad: A local court on Monday acquitted the accused in the 2007 Mecca Masjid blast case.

Tight security has been provided at the Nampally court. All the accused including Swami Aseemanand were produced in the court.

“Swami Aseemanand, Bharat Bhai Rateshwar, Rajendra Choudhary, Lokendra Sharma and Devender Gupta who were facing trial were acquitted in the case, said Aseemanand’s advocate J. P Sharma. The defence lawyer pointed out that the prosecution had failed to prove the allegations against the five persons.
