Ambati Rayudu is back, to lead in quarters

Hyderabad: Ambati Rayudu is back and will lead the Hyderabad team in the Vijay Hazare one-day quarterfinal match against Andhra, to be played on at Bengaluru on October 15.

Hyderabad had finished fifth in the joint Group A and B table and qualified for knock-out stage. The five-man selection committee of Noel David (chairman), Naushir Mehta, Vijay Mohan Raj, Vivek Jaisimha and Arvind Shetty met on Wednesday and made three changes in the team that played in the Group `B’ league phase in New Delhi.

Rayudu, who was unavailable for the league phase, has come in place of Himalay Agarwal. The selectors also included India under-19 all-rounder Ajay Dev Goud and fast bowler Mudassir, who have replaced Ashish Reddy and Mohammad Siraj, who is on India duty.
