Hyderabad: Style Tatva, a flagship event of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), Hyderabad Chapter, was inaugurated by Swati Lakra, IGP (Women’s Safety), I/C She Teams and Bharosa Centers, in the city on Saturday.
Harjinder Kaur Talwar, national president, FLO, Sona Chatwani, chairperson of FLO, and Shilpa Datla, chairperson, YFLO, were also present.
Speaking at the event, Sona Chatwani said that FLO will work with tribals near Tandur on a one-year project on Custard Apple Farming and Storage.
“We are also encouraging women in beehive rearing. One of our members has come forward to help take up this project including making available some three-acre land for the project,” she said.
Swati Lakra described Style Tatve as an exhibition for a cause. “It is a very big exhibition. I am told there is a men’s lounge, which I have not heard before,” she added.
Some of the exhibitors at the exhibition include Amrapali, Darpan Furnishings, Ranka Fashion Collection and She Teams.
FLO has made a special attempt to include a pavilion for beauty, wellness and health.
