Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh has completed a comprehensive industrial survey, Minister for Industries, IT, Skill Development and Training Mekapati Goutham Reddy said here on Thursday.
Talking to media persons, he said central institutions had agreed to set up five Centres of Excellence in the state and NITI Aayog chairman had appreciated the ‘Nadu Nedu’ programme of the state.
The Centre would also extend cooperation for developing eight fishing harbours in the state, he revealed.
“The skill development centres will be set up by December and we are making efforts to establish bulk drug park in the state. The work at Bhavanapadu and Ramayapatnam ports will begin by December 15 and steps are being taken to develop IT in Visakhapatnam and also to set up World Cloud Centre,” he disclosed.
