Telangana Food Festival has made its grand inception at People’s Plaza, Necklace Road. The three-day event which goes on till October 14 is the largest food festival happening in the State of Telangana.
Also, this is first of its kind in India; it has over 100 stalls with diverse, authentic food. The event is organised in association with Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation to bring diverse food cultures. The food festival has a medley of options from authentic flavours to traditional dishes. It also includes modern cuisine to accommodate fresh new concepts in local dishes at the food festival.
Being organised on the occasion of Bathukamma festival, the three-day culinary celebrations in a 35,000-sft area cover all Telangana delicacies and a few from national and international cuisines.
The annual signature event, presented by Telangana Tourism, is a one-stop place for food lovers in twin cities. The food festival would be open throughout the day, from 11 am to 10 pm on all these three days. This would be a landmark event for Hyderabadis that would rejuvenate them on the occasion of Dasara and Navratri.
There would also be specially-curated programmes like cooking contests, live kitchen facilities, lifestyle stores, and other entertainment also as part of the Telangana Food Festival. People get to experience various culinary options while having loads of fun.
