Another Telugu man drowns in Chicago, US

The tragic incident is second in as many days. Just two days ago, another Telugu person Nagaraju Surepalli, drowned along with his three-year-old son in Glens of Northville apartment in Detroit.

Hyderabad: In a yet another tragic incident, a Telugu man drowned in a swimming pool in Chicago on Monday, according to reports reaching here.

Sarat Kolisetty, a native of Guntur, drowned in his apartment’s community swimming pool and was unnoticed for some time. He was later pulled out and rushed to the hospital where he was passed away while being treated.

Sarat is survived by his 8-year-old daughter and his wife. 

A fund collecting campaign, Support for Sarat Kolisetty Family has been started by Sarat’s friends who are trying to help his family with the hospital expenses and arrangements are being done to send his body to India for the last rites.

The tragic incident is second in as many days. Just two days ago, another Telugu person Nagaraju Surepalli, also hailing from Guntur drowned along with his three-year-old son Anant Sai in Glens of Northville apartment in Detroit. 

The series of drowning incidents caused much consternation among Telugu people living in United States and social media has been abuzz with messages on need to take precautions to avoid such tragedies.
