AP: Rs 50 lakh ex-gratia for crane crash victims

Tourism minister Avanti Srinivasa Rao and Gajuwaka MLA Tippala Nagireddy on Sunday successfully held talks with the management of HSL

Visakhapatnam: The Hindustan Shipyard Ltd. management has agreed to pay an ex-gratia of Rs.50 lakh and a job to the families of ten victims who died in the crane collapse incident at its premises on Saturday.

Tourism minister Avanti Srinivasa Rao and Gajuwaka MLA Tippala Nagireddy on Sunday successfully held talks with the management of HSL which comes under the Defence ministry for payment of the compensation to all the ten workers who had died in the accident.
