Hyderabad: A local court here on Friday granted permission to the right-wing activist Swami Aseemanand to enable him to move out of Hyderabad.

In the 2007 Mecca Masjid blast case, he was given a conditional bail few days ago along with another right-wing activist Bharat Bhai and was asked not to leave Hyderabad without permission from the court.

Aseemanand had earlier filed a petition through his counsel seeking permission to move out of Hyderabad for the purpose of attending court proceedings in Panchakula in Haryana and for visiting his ailing mother and his own treatment.

He has to return to Hyderabad to attend the trial in Mecca Masjid case. The court allowed his plea and gave permission till May 17. Whenever he intended to move out of the city, he should again seek permission from the court.
