Asifabad: Annual credit plan for 2020-21 released

According to the booklet, Rs 1,138 crore has been earmarked for crop loans, while Rs 257 crore is allocated for term loans and Rs 95.76 crore is fixed for other priority sectors.

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: The annual credit plan of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district for 2020-21 was pegged at Rs 1,652 crore. Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha released booklet of the plan on Wednesday

According to the booklet, Rs 1,138 crore has been earmarked for crop loans, while Rs 257 crore is allocated for term loans and Rs 95.76 crore is fixed for other priority sectors. A sum of Rs 70.43 crore has been allocated to Micro Small and Medium Enterprises. This means Rs 1,562 crore is meant for the priority sector and Rs 90.50 crore is earmarked for the non-priority sector.

Sandeep Kumar told bankers to disburse the loans to the agrarian community and other sectors and achieve annual target. He said that 28,005 farmers renewed their crop loans and loans worth Rs 8.65 crore was granted to eligible firms under the Atma Nirbar Bharat Abhiyan scheme. A total of Rs 89 customers were paid Rs 8.9 lakh through Prime Minister Swanidhi scheme.

Additional Collector P Rambabu, lead bank manager Chenchu Ramayya, Telangana Grameena Bank Administrative Officer Raghavender Reddy, Nabard DDM Venkateshwar Reddy, Agriculture Officer Ravinder Reddy were present.
