Warangal Urban: Kalyanapu Srinivas, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW), was awarded the Ph.D degree JNTU, Hyderabad.
In a press note here on Wednesday, KITSW Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy said that Srinivas’s Ph.D. thesis titled “Novel Techniques for Image-Based Key Generation using Chinese Remainder Theorem and Chaotic Logistic Maps” submitted to the JNTU, Hyderabad. He did his research work under the Supervision of Prof V Janaki, (presently working as the Head of Dept of CSE at the Vaagdevi College of Engineering, Bollikunta, Warangal).
“ It is a novel technique used in cryptographic applications during encryption and decryption which involves generation of keys from user selected images. The research work involved with Chinese remainder theorem and Chaotic Logistic maps which strengthen security in crypto applications. This latest research work is extended to key wrapping methodologies,” the Principal added.
KITS Secretary and correspondent (MP) Capt V Lakshmikantha Rao, HoD, CSE, Prof V Shankar, Dean, R&D, Prof P Niranjan Reddy, Associate Professor and PRO Dr D Prabhakara Chary and others congratulated Srinivas on getting Ph.D degree.
