Australian companies interested in investing in Telangana tier-2 cities

Hyderabad: Six Australian companies have evinced interest in investing in IT and Incubation Centres in Nizamabad and Karimnagar districts and the companies representatives would be finalising the investments and their partners when they attend the Global Entrepreneurs Summit (GES) slated to be held in Hyderabad in November, according to Nagendar Reddy Kasarla, president of the TRS Australia on Sunday.
 
Australian Revenue Minister Kelly Odwyne had expressed keen interest in investment opportunities in Telangana, when he was briefed about the attractive industrial policies of Telangana government by TRS NRI Coordinator Mahesh Bigala and TRS Australia president Nagendar Reddy.
 
Nagendar Reddy told Telangana Today over phone that a team of investors from Australia including the Chief Executive Officers of major companies like Nexia and Interactive C will be attending the GES in November. They were briefed about the incentives being offered by the Telangana government to foreign investors. The TRS Australia unit has thanked the IT Minister KT Rama Rao for the Government’s initiative to attract investments for tier-2 cities in the State
