Hyderabad: With nearly 20 million gallons of water per day (MGD) being lost at customers’ locations, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) is conducting different awareness porgrammes to educate customers on the need to conserve water.

As part of this initiative, HMWSSB conducted a rally involving college students and resident welfare association members at Habsiguda here on Monday. The rally was flagged off by HMWSSB Project Director D Sridhar Babu.

HMWSSB launched a Water Leadership and Conservation Network (WLCN) to educate customers on the need to conserve water, said a press release.
