Three B.Tech students killed in accident in Hyderabad

The police said the incident occurred around 1.30 am on Friday when the driver, Kumar, lost control of the bike and crashed it into the median.

Hyderabad: Three B.Tech students died after the bike they were traveling on hit a road median near Suchitra Circle under the Pet Basheerabad police station limits in the wee hours of Friday.

According to the police, the students were identified as Anil Kumar, Ratan Angie and Amanraj, all aged around 22, and B. Tech students in a private engineering college in the city.

The police said the incident occurred around 1.30 am on Friday when the driver, Kumar, lost control of the bike and crashed it into the median.

“Kumar and Angie died on the spot, while Amanraj was declared brought dead after being shifted to the hospital,” said Ravi Chandra, Inspector, Pet Basheerabad.

A case was registered and the bodies were shifted to Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy. A probe is on.
