Hyderabad: Nearly 10 days after the severed head of a baby, suspected to be three months old, was found on the terrace of a residential building in Chilkanagar, the Uppal police are yet to crack the mystery.
On Friday, the CLUES wing inspected the house of the complainant, K Rajashekhar and as well as the neighbouring houses located in the colony. According to the police, Friday’s visit was for fourth such inspection since the incident came to light on February 1. A senior investigation officer said no proper evidence or clue that could help unravel the mystery behind the baby’s death was yet to emerge.
“During the previous visits, the team found some material but nothing worked out. Even on Friday, we have seized some material and sent it to the forensic lab for examination,” he said.
