Badminton: Telangana’s Pranav bags a double

Hyderabad: Gandham Pranav Rao bagged a double in the boys under-15 section of the 31st sub-junior National badminton championship that concluded in Tenali (AP) on Wednesday.

Pranav Rao defeated third seed Jayant Rana of Haryana 15-21, 23-21, 21-4 in singles final and then in the doubles final, Pranav and Pullela Sai Vishnu beat t Rana and Arshad Shaik of Andhra Pradesh 21-14, 21-23, 21-12.

A Abhilasha of Telangana State downed second seed Tasnim Mir of Gujarat 21-6, 21-12 in the girls under-15 final.
