Mancherial: Chennur MLA Balka Suman said that TRS government was implementing a slew of welfare schemes to empower various sections of society like no other State in the country. He distributed Bathukamma sarees in mandamarri town on Thursday.
Suman spoke about Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bheema, KCR Kits, Mission Bhageeratha etc introduced by TRS government in its first term. He asserted that the government was striving hard to cover all communities in its welfare schemes and thus to achieve social justice. He added that similar innovate schemes would be implemented in the second term too.
In the meantime, Mancherial MLA N Diwakar Rao took part in the similar event held in Mancherial and Luxettipet towns. He instructed officials concerned to ensure all eligible women get the saris. He was accompanied by Mancherial municipal chairperson M Vasundhara, vice-chairman Nalla Shankar and leaders of TRS party.
Jogu Ramanna, Adilabad MLA participated in the distribution of saries organized in different villages of Jainath mandal. He stated that the government recognized the richness of festivals that reflect culture and tradition of Telangana. A total of 94 lakh saris were being handed over to the women across State, as part of the scheme, he added.
