Bandi Sanjay meets Pawan Kalyan, party says courtesy call

Both the leaders had a closed door meeting for over an hour but the party sources said that it was a courtesy call

Hyderabad: BJP Telangana chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar has met Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan here at the actor-turned-politician’s camp office in Jubilee Hills on Monday. Both the leaders had a closed door meeting for over an hour but the party sources said that it was a courtesy call as both the leaders met for the first time after the Karimnagar MP took over Telangana BJP.

However the meeting gained significance with the AP unit of Janasena already in alliance with the BJP there for the ensuing civic body elections which were postponed because of Covid 19. It is said that Telangana unit too seeks such an arrangement here to considering the image of the actor belonging to strong Kapu community, among the youth.

On the other hand, Nadendla Manohar, former speaker of united AP Assembly and Jansena Political Affairs Committee Chairman, has announced that the party will be working with BJP in AP in protesting against the move of TTD to sell immovable properties of Tirumala temple. The BJP Telangana unit chief has already declared a unified fight against the YSRCP governments’ move to sell Lord Venkateswara’s properties by the Board alleging a communal conspiracy.
