Beautician dies while getting down train in Vikarabad

Hyderabad: A 21-year-old beautician has reportedly died while trying to get down from a moving train at Mailaram Railway Station, near Vikarabad, on Monday.

According to the Government Railway Police, the girl, identified as A Jyothi, boarded the Gulbarga – Hyderabad Passenger Express at Lingampally on Sunday.

A resident of Lingampally, according to authorities, Jyothi was working as a beautician at a private beauty parlour.

Inspector, Hyderabad Line, A Srinivas said that the girl tried to get down when the train reached Mailaram Railway Station.

“Passengers can’t board or de-board at this station because the train was not scheduled to make a halt at the Mailaram Railway station. The girl died while being shifted to a private hospital,” he said.

The body of the young girl was later shifted to Vikarabad Government Hospital for autopsy and a case has been booked. Further investigation is on.
