Jogulamba Gadwal: District Collector K Shashanka has said that the land of Beechupally oil mill, which is in the name of Markfed, would soon be registered in the name of the Managing Director of Telangana State Oil Federation.
On Tuesday, the Collector along with Oilfed Managing Director K Nirmala, went through the land records pertaining to 97.30 acres of land which was allotted in the past while setting-up of Beechupally oil mill. In the past, 5.38 acres of that land was illegally registered under the name of wrongful owners, which was contested in the Court of law, which had ruled in favour of Markfed.
Sasanka said that survey would be done to ascertain the boundaries for the entire land and only after that the land would be registered under the name of the managing director of Oilfed. He also said that an integrated agricultural market yard with all facilities just like the one constructed in Siddipet would also be constructed in that land, which the district administration was considering.
Nirmala said that once the survey is completed and registration is done in the name of the managing director, fencing would be done across the boundaries of the land, so that work for establishing the palm oil pressing unit could begin.
