Bhadradri Brahmotsavams from April 6

A day before Sri Rama Navami, on April 13 Garuda Seva and Edorkolu Utsavam will be conducted.

Bhadrachalam: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple at Bhadrachalam will begin on April 6, on which Telugu New Year Ugadi is celebrated.
Similarly, Sri Rama Navami, the celestial wedding of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita, is scheduled to be celebrated on April 14, according to the temple Vaideeka Committee that released events schedule here.

On April 6, there will be ‘Panchanga Sravam’ along with other events marking Telugu New Year Ugadi is celebrated. The Utsava Ankurarpana will take place on April 10 followed by Garudapatalekhanam the next day, Agni Pratista and Dwajaarohanam on Aptil 12.

A day before Sri Rama Navami, on April 13 Garuda Seva and Edorkolu Utsavam will be conducted. After the celestial wedding, Mahapattabhishekam will be conducted on April 15.
On April 20, the concluding day of the brahmotsavams, rituals like Purnahuti, Sri Pushpayagam and others will be conducted; the temple Executive Officer T Ramesh Babu said adding State government is informed about the schedule.

He said with the assistance of different departments efforts will be made to make elaborate arrangements for the celebrations. An action plan in that connection is being prepared. The work estimates worth Rs 84.87 lakhs have been prepared.
