Hyderabad: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday described the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as the only party that had the ability to transform Hyderabad into Bhagyanagar.

Addressing a gathering in Goshamahal, Adityanath said BJP was synonymous for good governance and development, which were needed to reduce poverty and improve living standards of the common man.

“If you want to see Hyderabad transform itself into Bhagyanagar, then you should give BJP a chance. While other parties are caught up in vote bank politics, the BJP is the only party that can fearlessly focus on good governance and development,” he said.

Seeking support for Raja Singh, the BJP candidate from Goshamahal, Adityanath said, “Raja Singh has represented your issues forcefully in the past four years. Now, it is time to vote him back as an MLA.”

Predicting a clear victory for the party in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, he said, “These three States have contributed to good governance and development by voting BJP to power. Now, it is the turn of Telangana to give BJP a clear mandate to focus on development.”

The UP Chief Minister criticised other parties in the State for not celebrating Hyderabad Liberation Day on September 17. “Just for political appeasement, no political party in Telangana wants to celebrate September 17. I promise you that if the BJP is voted to power, we will celebrate the day on a regular basis,” he said.

Adityanath also charged the Congress with not allowing construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya by indulging in appeasement politics.
