Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) State unit met here to prepare party manifesto for the ensuing Assembly elections. Party State unit president K Laxman, Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatrya, national secretary P Muralidhar Rao and manifesto committee members participated in the meeting.
Later speaking to media Dr Laxman said the party manifesto will address the concerns of the people and it would be a “People’s manifesto”. He said it will include all the sections and high priority to such communities where TRS has neglected. “The manifesto will mention the requirements of the Telangana people for next 20 years,” Laxman said, adding that it includes welfare of farmers, students, unemployed youth, women, SC/ST/BC and martyrs’ families.
Party vice president S Malla Reddy said party has decided to give top priority to welfare of Telangana martyrs’ family members including farmers, education, health and other import subjects. He alleged that the TRS failed to honour Telangana martyrs’ family members after it came to power.
