Hyderabad: Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Monday that the BJP’s fight was with terrorists and not with Pakistani civilians.
Speaking to the media here, Puri said Pakistan had said India would again attack Pakistan in a few days, which India had denied. “Pakistan should stop terrorist activities since India is no longer at the receiving end now and can take bold steps with the BJP government at the helm,” he added.
He slammed Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party for joining the hands just to defeat the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, after the two parties abused each other in the past. “This election will be qualitatively different from any other election in the history of the nation because the BJP is facing this election with a positive agenda,” he said.
BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain, referring to the party manifesto released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, said the party, if it comes to power, would work towards doubling the income of farmers by 2022 besides providing interest-free loans for farmers for five years.
