Shilpakala Vedika was filled with a large number of people on Sunday night as there was an exciting line-up of world-renowned musicians who visited Hyderabad to perform at Panchtatva, which was organised by SBI. There were more than 500 viewers who were already seated and around a hundred more who were seen standing along the walls of the venue.

The musical extravaganza began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by various partners and sponsors of the event. Durga Jasraj, well-known television host and daughter of Pandit Jasraj, is the main organiser of the musical concert from Art and Artistes foundation.

The title of the event Panchtatva itself explains why the free-entry-for-all show should not have been missed. The five important elements Earth, Water, Fire, Space and Wind are the Panchtatva. While legendary Sangeet Martand Pandit Jasraj explores the main element of Earth in his unique performance, Water by Padma Bhushan Vishwamohan Bhatt leaves the audience mesmerised.

Fire by Taufiq Qureshi, Ramkumar Mishra, Sridhar Parthasarthy and Bangalore Amrit comes out in a beautifully melodious manner. The element Space was extraordinarily performed by young musician Ankita Joshi and Rattan Mohan Sharma. Flautists Shashank S and Pravin Godkhindi made the audience feel the slow and cool breeze of Wind with their jugalbandi. Oh, what an effective way to end a slightly sunny summer evening.

As a part of the occasion, management of SBI launched their upcoming sustainability project named Badlav Ki Leher which will be initiated soon.
