Hyderabad: Minister for Tourism, Azmeera Chandulal held a meeting on Friday to review arrangements for the conduct of French aerial show ‘Celestial Carillion’ at People’s Plaza, Necklace Road in the city on February 13.
As a part of an agreement between India and France, Bonjour 2018 Fair is being conducted at 33 different places in the country with Hyderabad being chosen as the first city to host the fair with 18 artists from French Institute Francaise performing.
Tourism Secretary B Venkatesham said a series of events such as dance, musical performances, circus, craft and orchestra would be part of the schedule. “French government has provided Rs 1 crore for Bonjour Fair. The entry is free for the event and citizens are urged to participate in large numbers to make it a success,” he said.
French Institute Francaise Director, Aude-Emeline Loriot Nurbianto, Advisor to Telangana government BV Papa Rao, and others participated at the event.
