Hyderabad: Waiting in long queues at popular temples in Telangana could soon be a thing of the past, with booking of ‘seva’, ‘archana’ tickets and accommodation facilities now being enabled via T App Folio, the integrated mobile application for various services of the State government.
According to officials of the Electronic Services Delivery, ITE & C Department, as the application was introduced to provide most of the public services in a hassle-free manner, services related to temples for convenience of devotees have also now been added.
Under the section ‘Bhagwan Darshan Made Easy’, devotees can book seva tickets and also make donations to the temple via the application.
Seva bookings in temples including Ujjaini Mahakali Temple in Secunderabad, Lakshmi Narasimha Temple in Yadadri, Sri Gnana Saraswathi Devasthanam in Basar, Sri Raja Rajeshwara temple in Vemulawada and Sree Seetha Ramachandra Swamy shrine in Bhadrachalam are among those recently made available.
“Bookings for sevas and rooms in more temples will be included in the T App Folio in a phased manner,” said Raja Rao, senior consultant with the Electronic Services Delivery wing.
Launched in February, 2018, T App Folio has so far registered around 3.4 lakh downloads on both Android and IOS versions.
The application enables applications for government issued certificates like income, birth, death certificate, RTA applications like driving license, learner license and duplicate license, payments like property tax and RTA fee payments, all under one roof.
A comprehensive m-Governance solution for anytime and anywhere delivery of government-to-citizen and business-to-citizen services through a single access point, the application also has a host of informational services and location services such as Meeseva centres and ration shops.
This apart, land related services such as ‘adangal/ pahani’, encumbrance certiﬁcate and much more are available. Internet bills, DTH bills and mobile recharge (Airtel, Idea, Vodafone and BSNL) can also be paid via T-Wallet, UPI, credit/ debit cards and net banking.
