Nalgonda: Former Bhongir MP Dr Boora Narsaiah Goud on Wednesday said that TRS had occupied a unique place in political history of the country by winning all 31 Zilla Parishad Chairmen posts in the State.
Addressing a media conference at Bhongir, Narsaiah Goud said that Zilla Parishad elections were referendum to the TRS government, which was according top priority to welfare of the people as well as development of the State.
He said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has implemented many welfare schemes in the State. Several initiatives including Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bheema and KCR Kits have received widespread appreciation from national and international personalities, he added.
Stating that he lost in the Lok Sabha elections from Bhongir due to Road Roller symbol allocated to an independent candidate, the former MP said he had scored a ‘moral victory’ in the elections. He thanked the party leaders and workers.
Narsaiah Goud reminded that his services to people of Bhongor Lok Sabha constituency. He assured people that he will continue to work for them even though he did not win in the elections.
