Hyderabad: The 10th Indian National Brain Bee, a neuroscience contest, is being organised at KIMS Hospital, Minister Road, on May 13 and 14. The event aims to create awareness on the challenges and opportunities in neuroscience research.
Being conducted along with Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Brain Bee is a quiz competition for students who have exceptional credentials in biology and want to pursue careers in healthcare. The contest is conducted on a regional level and subsequently at national level in participating countries. It culminates at the international level.
According to a press release, 12 regional finalists from 12 different cities will participate in the championship, which will be conducted by Dr Sita Jayalakshmi, Neurologist, KIMS and Dr Subhash Kaul, HOD-Neurology, NIMS, Hyderabad. Visiting neurologists from across the country will judge the contest.
