Warangal Urban: In an attempt to spread awareness on  early detection of breast cancer, Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation and KIMS-Ushalakshmi Centre for Breast Diseases based out of Hyderabad organised the second edition of ‘pink ribbon walk’ here on Sunday.

Dr P. Raghu Ram, CEO and Director, Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation, said that nearly 1500 people participated in the event, which was organised in association with Indian Medical Association and Kakatiya Medical College.

Presented by SBI and Synchrony Financial as the Principal Partner, the walk has been flagged  off by Dr. Karunakar Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, G Sudheer Babu, Commissioner of Police and Anuradha, a breast cancer ‘conqueror’, a teacher.
