Hyderabad: Adopting modern technology to ensure sanitation in the city, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has deployed a specially designed Nano vehicle equipped with surveillance cameras and a computer.
The new vehicle which has three CCTV cameras will be moving in the city capturing visuals of people throwing garbage on the streets and also instances of sewage water being released on the streets and roads. These visuals would then be forwarded to the Command Control Room where they would be scrutinised by the officials and a decision taken to impose penalties.
