Celebs turn in early to ink finger

Many polling stations in Jubilee Hills constituency witnessed a beehive of activity with film stars, former MPs, MLAs and sportspersons turning up early in the day.

Hyderabad: Celebrities and sportspersons were the early birds as they arrived at different polling stations to cast their vote on Friday.

Many polling stations in Jubilee Hills constituency witnessed a beehive of activity with film stars, former MPs, MLAs and sportspersons turning up early in the day.

While film star and former MP Chiranjeevi, accompanied by his wife Surekha arrived at the Jubilee Hills Club polling booth and cast their vote after patiently waiting for their turn, actor Nagarjuna along with wife Amala too voted at another polling booth.

Tennis ace Sania Mirza too cast her vote at the Film Nagar Club polling booth, followed by actors Jagapathi Babu, Rana Daggubati and others. Film star Mahesh Babu and his wife Namrata too exercised their franchise at Jubilee Hills Public School. Actors Allu Arjun and Nithin too were among the early voters.
