At Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad, the CISF has set up special teams to profile passengers arriving and departing from foreign countries. These teams will be keeping a watch on the behavioral pattern of the passengers along with their facial features.

“If we get any suspicion about a flyer, we will take him aside for frisking apart from questioning him in detail,” an official said. He urged the passengers to cooperate with the security personnel in the wake of security reasons.

The CISF would take note of bomb blast incidents that takes place anywhere in the world and accordingly security measures would be taken up for safety and security of passengers. “We are following standard operating procedures to ensure fool-proof security to passengers,” the official said.

In addition to the CISF personnel, the Cyberabad police are also leaving no stone unturned in ensuring proper security outside the airport. The police were not allowing touts to move freely on the main road in front of the airport.

If touts were found to be moving near the airport, the police were booking cases against them under relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). “We are regularly checking vehicles that are arriving at the airport and ensuring that the drivers comply with the norms and operate their vehicles,” another official said.

A constant vigil is being maintained on those moving suspiciously near the airport, he added.
