‘CM KCR will attend Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanotsavam’

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will attend the Balkampet Renuka Yellamma Kalyanotsavam which will be held on June 27, Minister for Animal Husbandry and Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav said here on Tuesday.

He said the the three-day Kalyanotsavam will be conducted on a grand note and directed the officials to make elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the festival.

Stating that the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for the parking area near the temple on June 27, Yadav directed officials to clean the premises. “Once the permanent parking place is developed, there will be wide scope for increase in the number of devotees to the temple,” he said.

Addressing a review meeting at the Secretariat, the Minister said: “ We are expecting around one lakh devotees for the Kalyanotsavam.” He directed the officials to complete all arrangement at the temple premises including parking facility for devotees and maintain hygiene in and around the temple in view of the monsoon season. The Minister also asked the officials to install installing mobile transformers and drinking water facilities.

Yadav asked the police department to install CC cameras to monitor the flow of devotees and advised the department officials to utilize volunteers.

The review meeting was attended by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) zonal commissioner Harichandana, Temple EO Sharma, RDO Chandrakala, Endowment Deputy Commissioner Narsimha Rao, DMHO, Padmaja, Panjagutta ACP, Venkateshwarlu and other officials.
