Collector donates smartphone to a student in Karimnagar

In order to crosscheck the students listening to online classes, Collected visited the residences of few students in Karimnagar town

Karimnagar: Karimnagar collector K Shashanka donated a smartphone to a Class IX student Gollapalli Latha as the girl was skipping online classes due to lack of smartphone.

In order to crosscheck the students listening to online classes, Collected visited the residences of few students in Karimnagar town.

When the collector visited the house of Latha, she was not attending online classes as she did not have a smartphone. Moved by the plight of the girl, Shashanka provided a phone to Latha, who is studying in Ramnagar government high school.

Similarly, 2006 batch SSC students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidhyalaya, Choppadandi, provided smartphone to a Class IX student Sai Reja. School Principal Mangathayaru presented the phone to the student.

In another incident, teachers contributed money to purchase a smartphone to their student Ganesh, who is studying fourth standard in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Karimnagar.
