Collector instructs officials to expedite works of 2BHK houses in Karimnagar

The Collector conducted a review meeting with officials to discuss the progress of urban double-bedroom houses at collectorate conference hall here on Friday.

Karimnagar: District Collector K Shashanka instructed officials to speed up construction work of double-bedroom houses and complete all the houses as early as possible.

The Collector conducted a review meeting with officials to discuss the progress of urban double-bedroom houses at collectorate conference hall here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, Shashanka informed that a total of 6,494 double-bedroom houses were sanctioned for the district. While 784 houses were completed, 1,993 units were in different stages of completion.

He instructed the officials to complete those units by the end of September. Promising to sanction funds, he directed the officials to take steps to provide basic facilities such as electricity, water supply, roads, drainages and others in the houses.

He also instructed the officials to make arrangements to hand over completed houses to beneficiaries on the occasion of Dasara festival.

Superintendent Engineer, Transco, Madhava Rao, Executive Engineer, R&B, Sambasiva Rao, Mission Bhagiratha EE Uppalaiah and others participated in the meeting.
