Hyderabad: Majlis Bachao Tehreek leader Amjedullah Khan on Monday lodged a complaint against Goshamahal BJP legislator T Raja Singh for hurting the sentiments of the Muslim community.

In his complaint made at the Dabeerpura police station, Khan said the legislator, during a public meeting held at Bairagadh in Bhopal of Madhya Pradesh, instigated the participants to form groups to invade Muslim neighbourhoods.

“He advocated that there is a need to convert secular India into “Hindu Rashtra” for which Hindus of the nation have to take weapons in their hands”, he said in his complaint.

Khan demanded the police to register a case against Raja Singh and block the speech available on the YouTube, Twitter and Facebook accounts of the legislator.
