MLAs seek KTR’s support for coach factory

Hyderabad: The elected representatives of erstwhile Warangal district on Friday called on Minister KT Rama Rao seeking his support for the establishment of much-awaited Railway Coach Factory at Kazipet.

Government Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy and Wardannapet MLA Aroori Ramesh submitted a representation to the Minister at Pragathi Bhavan here on Friday.

They informed the Minister that despite numerous agitations and requests, the factory remained a distant dream for people of the region. They said that necessary land had been identified, but the Centre was not responding to requests from the State in this regard. They hoped that following the intervention of Rama Rao, the Centre would respond positively and initiate necessary steps to establish the factory which would eventually provide employment to the local youth and get national-level recognition to the area.
