Covid-19: Telangana registers 1,018 new cases, seven deaths on Wednesday

Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 1,018 Covid-19 infections and seven fatalities on Wednesday, pushing the toll to 267 and the cumulative number of positive cases to 17,357.

In the last 24 hours, 881 Covid-19 positive cases have been reported areas under GHMC, pushing the cumulative positive cases in the State Capital to 13,422.

According to a health bulletin, 788 persons were discharged on Wednesday which has taken the number of recoveries to 8082. The number of active cases Covid-19 infections has now risen to 9008.

Apart from 881 Covid-19 infections from Hyderabad, 33 from Rangareddy, 36 from Medchal, 10 from Mahabubnagar, nine cases each from Warangal Rural and Mancherial, seven from Khammam, four cases each from Nalgonda and Jagtiyal, three cases each from Siddipet and Nizamabad, two cases each from Sangareddy, Karimnagar, Suryapet, Kamareddy, Mulugu, Asifabad, Medak, Adilabad and Yadadri and one positive case from Gadwal district, were reported.

In the last 24 hours, authorities tested 4,234 samples out of which 3,216 have tested negative while 1,018 tested positive. Cumulatively, Telangana has conducted 92,797 tests out of which 75,440 tested negative while 17,357 have tested positive.
