Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 1,410 new Covid-19 positive cases and seven fatalities on Thursday, taking the overall toll to 331 and the total number of positive cases to 30,946, according to a medical bulletin.
Out of the f the 1,410 positive cases on Thursday, 918 cases were from areas under GHMC, 125 from Rangareddy district, 79 from Sangareddy, 67 from Medchal, 34 from Warangal Urban, 32 from Karimnagar, 23 from Kothagudem, 21 from Nalgonda, 18 from Nizamabad, 17 from Medak, 12 from Khammam, 10 from Suryapet, eight cases each from Mahabubnagar and Siricilla, seven from Warangal Rural, six from Bhupalpally, five cases each from Vikarabad and Mahabubabad, two cases each from Kamareddy, Yadadri, Jangaon, Wanaparthy and Gadwal, one case each from Jagtiyal, Peddapally, Adilabad, Mulugu and Siddipet.
The health authorities on Thursday have also discharged 913 persons, which has taken the number of recoveries from Covid-19 infection in Telangana to 18,192. At present, the number of active Covid-19 positive cases in the State is at 12,423.
In the last 24 hours, the health authorities have conducted tests on 5,954 samples out of which 4544 have tested negative while 1410 tested positive. Overall, since the outbreak of Covid-19, the health authorities have tested 1,40,755 samples out of which 1,09,809 samples tested negative and 30,946 tested positive
