CtrlS supports Defence officers for Hyderabad 10K Run

The company is sponsoring five hundred soldiers and officers from Indian Defence Forces to help them participate in the Hyderabad 10K run based on the theme ‘#My City My Run’ under various run categories.

Hyderabad:  CtrlS Datacenters Ltd, Asia’s Largest Tier-4 Datacenter is supporting Defence officers participating in the Freedom Hyderabad 10K run that will take place on November 25, 2018.

The company is sponsoring five hundred soldiers and officers from Indian Defence Forces to help them participate in the Hyderabad 10K run based on the theme ‘#My City My Run’ under various run categories. According to the organiser, the race will start at People’s Plaza and cover the distance all around Hussainsagar Lake, and conclude at People’s Plaza. An estimated 15,000 citizens are likely to participate in the race.

“Indian Defence forces play a pivotal role in safeguarding our country, and we at CtrlS are delighted to support them”, said Sridhar Pinnapureddy, founder and CEO, CtrlS Datacenters Ltd.

Sukhchain Singh, Defence Officer representing the Indian Defence Forces said, “We thank CtrlS for the support being extended to the soldiers as well as officers from the Defence Forces. Nobody came forward to support us in such a big way ever before to help a large number-that too 500 Defence soldiers participate in the Hyderabad 10K Run- we truly appreciate this gesture and wholeheartedly thank the CtrlS management team”.

He goes on to add, “ I wish to make an observation here, that, while our Indian Defence Forces play a key role in protecting the country, CtrlS as a data centre player is playing an important role in protecting the mission-critical data of Indian businesses”.
