Cycling for cancer awareness

Owing to their interesting mode of campaigning, the team successfully caught the attention of their target audience

Cycling their way across five States and covering a distance of 1481 kms, it is safe to say that the cyclists of the Grameen Sneh Foundation succeeded in their attempt to educate people about cancer. The NGO, aims to provide an improved quality of life to every individual through sustained change in their social physical, economic status with special emphasis on the rural people, women, children and elderly.

As a part of this initiative, they organise cancer awareness and detection programmes, along with free health check-ups and blood donation camps. The team that travelled through three districts of Telangana from December 11 to 14 consists of one cyclist who hails from an army background, along with four other people and one ambulance.
