Everybody loves the idea of meditation. The feeling of peace, positivity and clarity which comes with just a 5-minute session is unbelievable. But, busy schedules, chasing deadlines and daily chaos makes it almost impossible to take some time out for ourselves.

Here are a few ways to incorporate meditation in your super busy lives

Five minutes is all you need

You don’t really have to wake up in the wee hours and meditate. Just wake up five minutes ahead of your usual wakeup time. Finish your bodily functions, sit down and meditate for 5 minutes. This will help you in starting your day with much needed calm and peace. You can increase your session time, if need be.

Meditation breaks

Now that we are aiming for nirvana, little doses of meditation through the day will serve the purpose. Schedule your doses, take 10 minutes out of your lunch or snack time and meditate. This will also help you give your best at work.

Just one minute

If you have crazy schedules that don’t allow you take even 10 minutes for yourself, try one minute. Close your eyes for one minute for five days. A few moments before lunch or right when you think you are about get stressed out or before diving into the day will do.

In the moment

Meditation is not always about posture or closing your eyes. Concentrating on the moment at hand is also a form of meditation. Listening to music, walking or gardening anything can be also be a form of meditation. Just make sure you are there in the moment and not worried about anything else.

So, stop making excuses and get started on your journey to mental bliss.
