Develop penchant for sports: SI tells youth

Mancherial: A day long district-level Kabaddi competitions was organised at Perkapalli village in Bellampalli mandal. The event was orgnaised by Telangana Jagruti on the occasion of Sankranti festival.

Speaking on the occasion, Tallagurijala sub-inspector Ch Kiran Kumar urged the youth to participate in sports competition and to develop penchant for playing games. He complimented the organisers for hosting the district-level event and told participants to utilise the opportunity to showcase their talent. He urged them to bring recognition to their native places by shining in the competition.

A total of 24 teams belonging to various parts of Mancherial and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts took part in the event. Organisers Bakam Suman, Kudire Tirupati, Kotte Tirupati, D Mallesh, Ch Tirupati, and A Swami made elaborate arrangements for smooth conduct of the competition. They provided drinking water and dining facilities for the players.

Perkapalli Sarpanch Durgam Rajeshwar, Single Window Chairman Singati Peddanna, TRS party’s leaders Ramagoni Nanagoud, Motupalkala Rajasekhar, Rathnam Somu, Duguta Swami, Singathi Anjaiah and many others attended the programme.
